Indeed, the photographs you have captured or are about to take can be considered investments. Although we are not talking about huge investments, financial returns can still be gained from a picture. Why do you think there are professional photographers out there? But let us just say that you went to a certain tourist spot. You captured a stunning angle of an Egyptian pyramid for example. You could then offer this picture to any magazine, newspaper, or website who could make use of it.

Do not doubt it, they will pay you. In fact, there are already several websites that offer to stock photos from photographers so that others could buy it and download. Profits are shared between the website and the photographer. It would be even better if you were able to capture newsworthy events- these sell higher. Most importantly though, the investments you can make of a photo to your life’s memories are priceless.
